SICK OF IT ALL

Sick of It All is an American hardcore punk band, formed in 1986[1][2] in Queens, New York.[3][4] The band's current lineup consists of brothers Lou Koller on vocals and Pete Koller on lead guitar, Craig Setari on bass, and Armand Majidi on drums. Sick of It All has been a major part of the New York hardcore scene.[5] Though their 1989 debut album Blood, Sweat and No Tears was a moderate success, Sick of It All did not achieve commercial success until further albums. After the release of their 1992 second album Just Look Around, East West Records saw the band's potential and signed them in 1993. Sick of It All's third and major label debut album, Scratch the Surface, was released in 1994 to critical acclaim, and included the singles "Scratch the Surface" and "Step Down" (the video for the latter single would also be featured in the 1995 Beavis and Butt-head episode "Premature Evacuation"). Their 1997 follow-up Built to Last was also highly acclaimed. Despite the success of Built to Last, Sick of It All was dropped from East West and signed to Fat Wreck Chords in 1998, who released the band's next three albums before being dropped from the label in 2005, when they signed to Abacus Records, a subsidiary of Century Media. This label released their eighth studio album Death to Tyrants in 2006 to positive reviews (Abacus eventually went out of business, though Sick of It All would remain on Century Media). Death to Tyrants was followed by Based on a True Story in 2010. Sick of It All is currently working a new album, which is due for release in 2014.[6]

Majidi joined up with the Koller brothers and Rich Cipriano to record the Sick of It All demo in 1987, after first bassist Mark McNielly and drummer David Lamb left. The band began to play Sunday afternoon matinees at renowned venue CBGB's, and soon after released a self-titled 7" on Revelation Records (which was later re-issued on the tenth anniversary of its release, in 1997). In 1988, Sick of It All signed to Relativity Records and recorded their first full-length, Blood, Sweat and No Tears, which was released in 1989. The album's follow-up, Just Look Around, was released in 1992. Rising popularity (1993–1997) Sick of It All released their record Scratch the Surface on major label EastWest Records. They also recorded a video for "Step Down" and the title track "Scratch The Surface". The record was the first recorded with long-time friend and former Straight Ahead, Rest in Pieces, Youth of Today and Agnostic Front bass player Craig Setari, who had replaced Rich Cipriano in early 1993. The fair success of Scratch the Surface allowed the band to tour worldwide. In 1997, they released their second record on the EastWest label, Built to Last. This record had released a number of live staples for the band, including "Us vs. Them," "Busted" and "Good Lookin' Out." Sick of It All toured with Napalm Death and Sepultura during the album cycle. The album also marked the end of Sick of It All's contractual agreement with EastWest. The Fat Wreck Chords years (1998–2004)

In 1998, Sick of It All signed to independent record label Fat Wreck Chords, owned and run by Fat Mike of NOFX. After releasing the "Potential for a Fall" single – for which another video was filmed, Call To Arms was released in February 1999. The 2000 follow-up Yours Truly was less critically acclaimed. Despite containing some of the bands favored live tracks, including "Blown Away," "The Bland Within," "District" and "America," some fans felt alienated by the album's progressive nature and in a recent interview, frontman Lou Koller claimed that the album's cover art probably contributed to its poor reception.[7] In 2001, Sick of It All released their home video The Story So Far, and a year later a live record was released as part of Fat Wreck Chords' Live in a Dive series. The album showcased tracks from Sick of It All's entire career up to that point in time. 2003 saw Sick of It All release their seventh studio album: Life on the Ropes. In 2004, the band also released an album of b-sides, covers and rare tracks entitled Outtakes for the Outcast, which contains some Sick of It All recordings. Recent activity and the future of the band (2005–present) In early 2005, Sick of It All signed to Abacus Recordings to record the follow-up to Fat Wreck Chords' Life on the Ropes. The new album, titled Death to Tyrants, was released on April 18, 2006. The band has recently toured with AFI and The Dear & Departed in early 2007. A tribute to the band, titled Our Impact Will Be Felt, was released on April 24, 2007, and includes covers from artists such as Bane, Bleeding Through, The Bouncing Souls, Ignite, Comeback Kid, Hatebreed, Himsa, Madball, Most Precious Blood, Napalm Death, Pennywise, Rise Against, Sepultura, Stretch Arm Strong, The Suicide Machines, Unearth, and Walls of Jericho. Following a worldwide tour in support of Death to Tyrants, Sick of It All began working on new material for their next album. In an August 2009 interview with singer Lou Koller, he revealed that the band would begin recording their new album in November for a 2010 release.[8] Based on a True Story, the first Sick of It All album in four years, was released on April 20, 2010.[9] Sick of it All also toured in Australia with Rise Against to support their Endgame tour in 2011. They also toured the UK with AFI and Dear & Departed in April 2010. In November 2011, singer Lou Koller revealed to AbsolutePunk writer Dre Okorley that Sick of It All has begun writing a new album to be released in 2014. He stated: "Right now we're concentrating on writing our new record, inspired by the last two tours we've done with different bands. We have some really good lyrics and tons of songs done. Kalian ga mau kanseperti itu,, saya punya sedikit tips nih biar aman-aman aja… Nah sebelum kita memasuki Mosh pit (sebutan buat arena moshing) sebelum menjadi bagian dari crowd yang super agresif ini…sebaiknya kita perhatikan dulu cara berpakaian kita deh..yang pastinya pake baju yang nyaman donk..kebayang dong Mosh pit pasti sangat panas dan gerah..namun disarankan pake baju lengan panjang. “hey tambah panas dong!!!”..tar dulu bukan itu maksudnya…maksudnya biar menambah perlindungan, juga bisa menghindarkan diri dari keringat sesama crowd yang pastinya akan sangat banyak melakukan kontak ”up-close-and-personal” dengan kamu..nah kamu pasti bakal banyak ngeluarin keringat kan…makanya bawa air minum yang banyak tapi inget loh bukan miras...hehehe..but don’t drink it in mosh pit area…tar kalo tumpah bisa licin tar ada yang jatoh keinjek-injek gimana ayoo… Kalau terpaksa ingin minum, lakukan di luar mosh pit…

Nah bagian celana sangat penting nih…masa moshing ga pake celana..hahaha..tapi jangan salah banyak juga loh yang melepas celana mereka pada saat moshing entah karna gerah ato hanya pamer aksi ya ga tau jugaapa mau mereka..hindari hal seperti itu…pilih celana panjang yang biasa aja jangan bagus-bagus amat..tar sayang loh kalo rusak trus sobek…yang bagus nya simpan aja dirumah buat kencan sama doi..hehehe.. Pakai combat pants, atau denim yang lebih kuat. Untuk bagian kaki..hindari pake sandal jepit…pilih sepatu lars, Selain kuat, sepatu lars juga bisa membantu menstabilkan pergelangan kaki. Sepatu lars membuat kaki loe lebih nyaman dan mengurangi resiko cidera. Juga mengurangi resiko luka karena terinjak mosher lain..kebayang kan seandainya kita pake sandal jepit…abis deh tuh kaki di injekin pada saat moshing….

Untuk asesoris hindari pake pin, rantai…kalo sampai merusak baju kamu karna pinnya ketarik mosher lain yang tadinya keren malah brantakan…mana pin nya hasil koleksi..sayang banget kan…kalo pin sama rantai lo yang keren jadi ilang dan merusak pakaian kamu yang tadinya keren..gelang atau kalung, hindari metal-metal yang berbentuk tajam. Bahaya buat mosher lain. Ganti dulu dengan yang berbentuk flat metal, chain, blunt pyramid, atau dome stud. Piercing juga sama. Jangan pakai titanium yang menggantung, soalnya kalau ketarik mosher lain bisa menyobek kulit. Lebih baik lepaskan atau ganti dengan bentuk yang lebih aman seperti stud atau loop.

A Skylit Drive is an American Post-hardcore band from Lodi, California. The band has released one DVD, one EP and four studio albums: Wires...and the Concept of Breathing on May 20, 2008, Adelphia on June 9, 2009, Identity On Fire on February 15, 2011, and most recently Rise, released on September 24, 2013. As of 2012, the band consists of Michael Jagmin (lead vocals), Brian White (bass guitar, unclean vocals), Nick Miller (guitar), Cory La Quay (drums, death growls), and Kyle Simmons (keys, synths, bass guitar). HistorY Formation and She Watched the Sky EP (2006–2007) A Skylit Drive's original members all met while attending Lodi High School in Lodi. Cory La Quay (drummer) attended Franklin High School in Elk Grove, California Their debut EP, She Watched the Sky, was released early in 2007 on Tragic Hero.[1] Following this the group toured with Four Letter Lie, Blessthefall, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Greeley Estates, Oh, Sleeper, The Blackout, Alesana, Before Their Eyes, Dance Gavin Dance, Kenotia, Pierce the Veil, and From First to Last. Jordan Blake left the band mid-tour around November 2007 due to ulcers that made it difficult for him to sing. Blake's departure was mutual between him and the other members of the group. He then formed the musical projects Watchout! Theres Ghosts!, JbdJ, Trances, and The Legend. The Leader with Etienne Sin and Dani Quero. Following departure from A Skylit Drive, Jonny Craig aided A Skylit Drive for a few shows after leaving Dance Gavin Dance. A new singer, Michael "Jag" Jagmin, then joined, being the final lineup change the band would go through thus far. The band has also retained the same recording personnel which produced their earliest material. Jessy Mickles is their head recording supervisor. Wires...and the Concept of Breathing (2008) A demo version of "Knights of the Round," was performed live with Jonny Craig as the lead vocalist during his few performances with the band in November 2007. Though Craig had written lyrics to the song, only the chorus or refrain is believed to have been kept in the final album version sang by their new-found, permanent vocalist Michael "Jag" Jagmin, formerly of Odd Project. Craig Mabbitt also tried out for lead vocals after leaving blessthefall, but later joined Escape the Fate after dialing the wrong number in an attempt to contact A Skylit Drive's Manager, but instead reaching Escape the Fate's. The full length Wires...and the Concept of Breathing (produced by Mitchell Marlow and Allen Jacob) appeared in May 2008.[2][3][4][5] The album hit No. 171 on the U.S. Billboard 200,[6] as well as No. 9 on the Top Heatseekers Chart and No. 20 on the Top Independent Albums chart.[7] Shortly after the release of the album they filmed a music video for the nonprofit group To Write Love on Her Arms directed by Robby Starbuck.[8] They appeared at The Bamboozle Left in 2008 and toured in the summer of that year with Sky Eats Airplane, Breathe Carolina, and Emarosa. They toured with Greeley Estates, August Burns Red, Sky Eats Airplane, This or the Apocalypse, Escape the Fate, Alesana, Chiodos, and Silverstein during fall in 2008. They have announced that there will be five brand new videos on their upcoming DVD "Let Go of the Wires" as well as live performance footage from a show at the Glasshouse in Pomona, CA. The DVD was released exclusively at Hot Topic on December 9, 2008. On December 19, 2008, it was announced that A Skylit Drive would be a part of the Vans Warped Tour 2009 lineup. A day before Warped Tour 2009 began, the band appeared at a Hot Topic store in Montclair,CA. Adelphia (2009–2010)[edit] In their DVD, "Let Go of the Wires", the band discussed plans for their next album. The album was to be titled "Glaciers". The band later announced that this would not be the title of their new album. On May 26, 2009, A Skylit Drive released a new song, entitled "Those Cannons Could Sink a Ship" onto iTunes and also for play on their MySpace page. The song is the first of their new album to be released on iTunes.[9] Their second full-length album, Adelphia, was released on June 9, 2009 and peaked at number 64 on the Billboard 200.[10] The band released a music video for "Those Cannons Could Sink A Ship!" on October 19, 2009, directed by Spence Nicholson. During a New York City set on February 16, Dee Snider (vocalist of Twisted Sister) appeared to see the show, and hang out with the band(s). On his Twitter, Jag was quoted saying, "I'm never going to get over hearing Dee Snyder compliment my voice. Dee, "can you really pull it off every night?". Me, "You'll see." This tour, titled The Emptiness Tour, will continue Spring 2010 in the U.K. and Europe. While Of Mice & Men, We Came as Romans, and The Word Alive won't be appearing out of the U.S. shows, ASD (as well as Alesana) will be sharing the tour with Emarosa and Bury Tomorrow.

Identity on Fire (2011 On his Formspring account, Jagmin predicted that A Skylit Drive would begin writing and recording a follow-up to Adelphia during Summer 2010. He also suggested that the album would see an early 2011 release.[12] In February 2010 Hassle Records published on their web site "We have new recruits to the Hassle Records family, please welcome A Skylit Drive with open arms... Fresh out of California, A Skylit Drive have been together in their current line-up since 2007 and have been touring their unique brand of metalcore across the US. We released their second album Adelphia in October and the UK joined the ever growing A Skylit Drive bandwagon. Catch the band on the rapidly selling out UK / Europe tour with Alesana in April."[13] The band announced via MySpace that on May 29, 2010, the band Desires of Sires will debut on their Adelphia tour. Recently, Michael Jagmin hinted on Twitter that A Skylit Drive is currently writing new material.[14] A Skylit Drive is recording new demos. The band's MySpace layout changed in July 2010 with a new message saying that A Skylit Drive was in the studio recording a new album with Cameron Webb for early 2011.[15] The band was on the "Average Guys with Exceptional Hair" tour with bands Woe, Is Me, For All Those Sleeping, Motionless in White and Scarlett O'Hara. On December 7, 2010, the band announced the tracklisting for the album and a date set on February 15, 2011. They have been on tour mid January through February with Underoath, Thursday, and Animals as Leaders.[16] The band has released a music video for "Too Little Too Late" on January 12, 2011. They will participate in all dates of the Warped Tour 2011[17] at the Ernie Ball stage. On September 9, 2011 the band posted that they're in the studio recording a cover song for the upcoming Punk Goes... Departure of Joey Wilson, Fallen & Rise (2012–present)[edit] On July 22, 2012 the band posted that they had officially began the pre-production (first half) for the follow up to "Identity On Fire".[22] They stated that they would be entering the studio with Cameron Mizell around summer 2013. On September 19, it was speculated by fans that lead guitarist Joey Wilson had left the band. He confirmed this via a Facebook post stating he has parted ways with the band.[23] There is no official word from the band and he has yet to state an official reason for his departure. Wilson has stated that he intends on furthering his music career with a new project with former A Skylit Drive lead vocalist Jordan Blake, called Speak Of The Devil.[24] A Skylit Drive entered the studio on Friday, October 26, 2012 to begin recording a new single;[25][26] however, the actual recording sessions for the new album did not begin until June 1, 2013.[27] Their new single, titled "Fallen", was released on November 30, 2012 on the band's YouTube channel.[28] On November 29, the lyric video for the single was posted on Tragic Hero Records' official YouTube channel with Fearless stating the new album will be a joint venture between both labels.[29] On November 26, the band embarked on the Nut Up or Shut Up tour with Skip the Foreplay, At the Skylines, and Blessthefall. On December 4, A Skylit Drive performed "Fallen" live for the first time at the Opera House in Toronto, Canada. The second half of pre-production began on February 3, 2013 in LA.[30][31] It was announced on April 22, 2013, that the band entered the studio a week before to continue writing their album with Jim Wirt (Hoobastank, Alien Ant Farm). It's also known that Kit Walters, Mitchell Marlow and Al Jacobs who already worked on the debut album Wires And The Concept Of Breathing, will be involved as well.[32] On April 26, 2013 A Skylit Drive attended a press conference for the Pulp Summer Slam XIII Til Death Do Us Part rock festival in Manila, Philippines. The press conference also included progressive rock bands Coheed and Cambria and Circa Survive, which played the festival along with metal bands DragonForce, As I Lay Dying, Cannibal Corpse, and Amoral.[33] The last day of pre-production with Jim Wirt in Cleveland was on May 10, 2013.[34] The official recording sessions with producer Cameron Mizell began on June 1 at the Chango Studios in Lake Mary, Florida.[35][36] Drums, bass, guitar and electronics were officially completed on June 14.[37] with the band then going to Cameron Mizell's studio in Phoenix, Arizona, to record vocals. Lead vocalist Michael Jagmin has also stated in fan mail that unclean vocals are performed by himself, White and LaQuay.[38] The band finished recording on June 30, 2013.[39][40] On July 18, the band announced that their brand new album will be entitled Rise, and is set for release on September 24. They have also announced a headlining tour with supporters For All Those Sleeping, Wolves at the Gate, I the Mighty, and PVRIS in support of the new album. The first batch of tour dates were announced on July 24. On July 31, the band released the first single and title track off their new album, "Rise". The band also announced an Australian tour supporting Dream On Dreamer on August 13, and on the following day, released the tracklisting for Rise along with another batch of tour dates for their headliner. On September 6, the band release the second single of the album titled "Unbreakable". Rise was released on September 24, 2013, and sold over 10,000 copies in its first week of release. It marked the biggest opening week for both A Skylit Drive and Tragic Hero Records. The band also announced on October 7 that they would be headlining a UK and European tour during November - December 2013 with supporters Violet and Here Lies a Warning, which was cancelled shortly after.[41] On December 18, 2013 the band announced "The Unconditional Tour" beginning late April through March with fellow acts The Word Alive, Memphis May Fire, Hands Like Houses and Beartooth.[42] They also announced that they would once again be performing on Warped Tour for the 2014 season.

Drumer Josh Goddard hengkang dari band dan di gantikan posisi nya oleh Alex Lopez yang merupakan mantan gitaris dari band Blacheart Eulogy dan The Funeral Pyre sebelum dia bergabung dengan band ini.

Dua tahun kemudian mereka teken kontrak dengan Century Media dan merilis debut full length album pertama mereka The Cleansing. Album ini di Mix oleh Tue Madsen, di produseri oleh John Travis dan artwork nya oleh Dave McKean. Album ini menembus posisi nomor 94 di Billborad 200, terjual 7250 kopi pada minggu pertama rilisnya. Penjualan pada minggu itu di gabung kan dengan penjualan lain menjadikan The Cleansing album debut yang terjual paling banyak sepanjang sejarah Century Media. Dalam wawancaranya, dia mengatakan bahwa album ini akan di rekam melalui trek, sebagai kebalikan dari rekaman Live, seperti The Cleansing. Dia juga mengatakan “Album ini akan menyingkirkan The Cleansing“. Seorang produser bernama Machine di pilih band ini untuk menjadi produser album ini. Judul album ini di ungkapkan adalah No Time To Bleed. Suicide Silence mulai merekam No Time To Bleed pada bulan Februari dengan di produseri oleh Machinei dan engineering oleh Will Putney. Selama tur Music As A Weapon dan Cleansing The Nation mereka mulai menampilkan lagu-lagu dari album No Time To Bleed, Your Creations, Lifted dan Wake Up. Berbulan- bulan sebelum di rilis nya album ini. Pada bulan April mereka menerima Golden God Award dari Revolver untuk “MOst Innovative Band” dan tampil di show award tersebut. Suicide Silence termasuk band yang tampil di tur Pedal To The MEtal pada tahun 2009, bersama band-band lain seperti Mudvayne, Statid-X, Bury Your Dead, Dope dan Black Label Society. Pada tahun yang sama mereka menerima Golden God Award mereka yang kedua. Suicide Silence merilis No Time To Bleed pada tanggal 30 Juni 2009, melalui Century Media. Album ini mencapai puncak pada urutan ke 32 di Billboard 200, terjual 14 ribu kopi pada minggu pertama di Amerika serikat saja. Trek pembuka dari album ini Wake Up di rilis sebagai download digital, hanya EP termasuk lagu asli, penampilan Live lagu ini dan sebuah Remix yang di tangani oleh Shawn Crahan dari band Slipknot. Sebuah video musik juga di bikin untuk lagu ini dan tampil perdana di Fearnet. Pada tahun 2011 Suicide Silence mulai melakukan persiapan untuk album ketiga mereka di Big Bear, California dengan seorang produser yang di pilih oleh band ini Steve Evetts. Selama bulan Maret, mereka tampil di dua festival, California’s Metal Fest dan seminggu kemudian di Nevada’s Extreme Thing, dan pada penampilan di dua festival ini mereka memberikan onfirmasi bahwa album ketiga ini akan di beri judul The Black Crown. Ketika di tanya oleh Kerrang! Lucker mengungkapkan bahwa tema lirik di album ini lebih kearah pengalaman pribadi seperti yang di album No Time To Bleed dari pada tema anti agama yang di angkat di album The Cleansing. Lucker menerangkan “Saya masih memiliki kepercayaan dan pandangan yang sama, namun saya lebih terbuka untuk hal lain. Suicide Silence mengusung aliran extreme Metal yang lebih di kenal dengan Deathcore, merupakan fusion dari Death Metal dan Metalcore. Mereka membawakan style ini karena dasar dari genre extreme metal lainnya seperti Black Metal, Grindcore dan Mathcore. Unsur Mathcore ini bisa di lihat dari perubahan kecepatan yang sering dan pewaktuan yang kompleks. Band beraliran Electronic Rock (Distodance) ini terbentuk pada 28 Februari 2012, band yang sangat terinfluence oleh Attack Attack, Asking Alexandria, dan LMFAO ini mempunyai 6 personil. Mereka adalah Agung Nugroho (Lead Vocal/Beat Producer), Galih Novezar (DJ/Sampling Player), Purwoko (Rapper), Fitrahulki (Drummer), Nob (Guitar), dan Feri (Bass).

Band ini bisa dibilang sebagai band gabungan, kenapa? yap karena rata2 personil di band ini juga mempunyai band lain. Nob dan Uki (BLOODYDIE) dan Feri (HAPPY SUMMER). Band ini mempunyai single andalan BREAK THE BOTTLE, lagunya sangat enak didenger dengan alunan disko yang membuat kita mengangguk2an kepala kita :D

Bring Me the Horizon adalah sebuah band metalcore inggris dari Sheffield, Yorkshire, yang dibentuk pada tahun 2004. Mereka memainkan gaya musik yang sekering death metal dan metalcore, yang dikenal sebagai deathcore pada album pertama mereka - tetapi mereka telah diambil pada gaya yang lebih beragam dengan album terakhir mereka.

Awal tahun dan Count Your Blessings (2004-2007)

SUICIDE SEASON sama sekali berbeda dengan album sebelumnya COUNT YOUR BLESSING memiliki getaran yang lebih Metalcore itu, mirip dengan merilis EP debut, ini adalah Apa yang The Edge of Your Seat Was Made For.

Band baru-baru ini memulai tur utama pertama mereka dari Amerika Serikat, dan juga tampil di Warped Tour 2008. Bring Me the Horizon juga bergabung di mindless Self Indulgence, In Case Of Fire, Black Tide dan Dir en grey di Kerrang! 2009 Inggris dan tur tanpa henti.Mereka juga menetapkan untuk bergabung Kamis, cancer, bats ,four year strong dan Pierce the Veil pada Taste of Chaos 2009 tur Amerika Utara.

Diumumkan pada 27 Agustus 2009 yang Bring Me the Horizon akan merilis versi remixed Suicide Season, berjudul Suicide Season, di Inggris pada 2 November 2009. Dalam sebuah wawancara dengan Rock Sound, Oliver Sykes menyatakan bahwa ide muncul setelah meminta seorang teman untuk remix salah satu lagu mereka, dan setelah sangat senang dengan hasil akhirnya band ini memutuskan untuk mengambil langkah lebih lanjut dan mendapatkan seluruh Suicide Season remixed. Nottingham insiden

Kasus itu ditunda lagi sampai 17 September.Karena kurangnya bukti, semua tuduhan terhadap Sykes itu dicabut.

Selama tur, Bring Me the Horizon dan Arsitek memfilmkan sebuah video yang menunjukkan perkelahian antara Oliver Sykes dan Arsitek 'penyanyi Sam Carter. Video film ini di hari yang semua acara di Karlsruhe, Jerman dan menunjukkan apa yang tampak sebagai Sam Carter melakukan tindakan kekerasan fisik terhadap Oliver.
